What does crossing a cheque do?
I have had nothing but problems with BT since i began dealings with them, they had said previously that they had refunded the money into my credit card but this turned out to be a lie. Do you think that they are giving me the run around?
Answers:
a cheque crossed means it can only be payble into your bank
It just means that the cheque can't be cashed, it has to be paid into the account of the company name on the cheque.
Make it very angry.
hi, if a cheque is crossed it means that if the cheque has been sent in your name it can only be cashed by you in your bank, it secures it from anyone else cashing it xx
I know its a pain in the ar*e but you,ve got to see it through. People assume these big companies know what they're doing but they employ muppets because they are cheap and they counldn't find their ar*e with a map reference.
persist - it sounds like you have compensation. If its been banked, though it will take time, the bank will be able to say where and by whom, but I suspect BT are yanking your chain - some problems they ignore just go away sadly.
And transfer to another phone supplier! recommend one tel. May pay slightly more, but they know what they are doing most of the time.
Good luck. (and keep detailed records).
if you still have an active account with bt IE phone line they normally refund it to your next bill as CR
if this is the case then that what will happen. if your account is closed then they will send your a cheque but this normally takes up to 6 weeks
