Question for ebayers?

how long should I wait for a response after I sell an item.I sold an item and I sent an invoice and I havent heard from the buyer in 3 days.

Answers:
I had to send reminders to buyers a couple of times.I waited 4 days, then sent a note, waited another 4 days, then sent another note. One buyer went on holiday and forgot the auction, another went to a funeral and forgot the auction. Both of them apologized and paid up.I would be hesitant to report them to eBay until several unanswered e-mails were sent. The one time I did file a complaint the buyer shot back with a negative rating in spite. Just be patient-It'll probably work out OK.
I would send an email to the winner and then I would wait a total of five days and then file a complaint
that is odd. I would wait another couple of days, if not then negative feedback I guess.. I hestitate to do that, cause they may retalitate with the same
Usually it is 3 days. how ever maybe they have not had time to check there messages. You might want to give one more day and send an e-mail to make sure they are not waiting to get paid.
I'd say give it 5 days, because they may be on vacation or something. But for sure don't wait too long, email them and let them know you're on top of it! :)
Good Luck!
has he sent the payment? do you accept pay-pal? I think most Sellers specify must have payment within 24 hours. did you send him email advising him he won the item and the total?
