Income-tax rebate?

Dear All,
As per income tax rule rebate u/s 80c a person can get rebate 24000/= education fee of child but i want to know that can a person get rebate of nephew eductaion fee while school receipt / bank statement is showing that all education fee was made by the uncle.

Answers:
On this count you are not eligible for any rebate on income tax.
No

Paying fee for your nephew is your own social arrangement within your family, the law doesn't recognise it.
Correction - u/s 80C , Rs. 24000/- is the max. rebate a person can claim for full time education-tution fees paid for 2 children i.e Rs. 12000/- per child. The child should be your own son/daughter.
