but if he gets say 9000 euros a year or more then he gets no tax allowance.all the pension is taxed.not like in england where if you have a tax allowance then anything above this is taxed .in spain you can lose al your tax allowance.i have to pay tax on all my pension my wife who only gets 6000 euros a year doesent have to pay tax.surely their is something wrong.this is the second taxman i have gone to the first had never heared od doulble taxation treaty.where if you pay tax in england you dont have to pay it again in spain.so i changed my taxman who agreed that the first taxman had it wrong.but then said my old age pension was to much.so i wont get any allownce.waiting for a answer from the british consulate in alicante.can you help.please.my email address is bobdunford2007@yahoo.co.uk.

Thats the law so quit moaning, if you dont like it move back to England.

are you living in Spain permanently? i.e. residencia
If you are resident in Spain, you will be liable to Spanish tax with a credit for any UK tax paid. Why do you think people on Banswer.com , or indeed the British Consul can change the Spanish tax laws?
