I have got myself a PAN card but I am not earning, Do I have to file tax returns?

I am I mean I m not in a job. I am a writer. Sometimes I get paid sometimes I do not. I want a tax consultant or an honest tax payer from India to answer my query.

Answer:
No need to file the IT return. since your income does not exceed the taxable limits
You need to file tax returns if your income exceeds minimum annual taxable income or if you cover under one in six.
Dude file a zero income return as filing annual returns is mandatory for every PAN card holder in India. However given the big fish who get away with tax-evasion murder they are unlikely to have the time or cash INCENTIVE to chase small fish like us.
Definately. You SHOW a non incommed earnings returns. But You must file your returns. If there are no returns in the boxes you file n/a
Dear ,
It is not necessary to file return of income if you have no income or small income ( Less than Rs. 100000.00 P. A.) If yoy have less than taxable income you can ignore.
However, i suggest you to file return since it will better for future benefits like loan sanction or other matters.you will be in better position if you have three or more year's income tax return filed .
you have to pay only CA's fee (a very small amount) and he will take your burdon on him.
