What the h-e-l-l is a federal access charge on my phone bill, its like 5 bucks a month!?

It surprises me when I get my phone bill; all of the stupid unclear charged that are shown. I dont get it, its like we just pay and dont question what we are paying for. ..

i had the same response so i called and asked the phone company and they said that it is a new federal law that if we want a phone we have to pay this 5 dollar fee so apperently it is something the goverment is charging us for with out letting us know that we are paying them
It's probably what GWB is paying for all the wire tapping with. Someone has to pay those weirdos to sit there and listen to Grammy Nona's nonsense.
