How much can I expect to be taken out of my check if I make 64 a week.?
Answers:
Probably just the 7.65 for fice/medicare ($ 4.89). But, you mention another job? Do the worksheet on the top of form W-4 so you don't wind up with a nasty surprise at tax time.
Probably just social security and medicare (7.65%).
At $64 / week you won't even break the threshold to even have even one dollar in federal income taxes withheld. Unless you are in a flat tax state (ie Pennsylvania) you probably won't have any state taxes withheld either.
zero
At $64 a week, no federal income tax would probably be withheld, pretty much no matter what you put on your W-4. Each job withholds assuming they are your only job, and you wouldn't owe taxes on $64 a week income.
Since you do have another job, you WILL probably end up owing something, since when you file, all of your income is added together. If you owed taxes last year on your main job, you might want to have $5 or $10 withheld each week from your part-time job so you don't end up owing when you file your taxes.
