If I send a Christmas Card to President Bush, could I deduct that from my taxes?
Answer:
Ha ha ha. Very funny.
I would hope not
I don't think so but if you donate him money to go towards the war and you put in a holiday card you can..but I would ask a tax professional.
Will a $ 1.39 plus postage make all that much difference?
Sorry, but not in this lifetime. You will just be wasting your money. No refund.
Points for me....
If I could put all the dumb people in a ship and send them to a far away island, would you be on board?
I love it! lol
absolutely not
Yes- it would be considered giving a donation to the less fortunate!
It would be no more tax deductable than the Christmas Card you would send anyone else. It would not be a political contribution, it would be a holiday greeting.
no you wont the secret service will see to that
If you do send him one, make sure you put a pretzel in it!
Of course not, and to everyone, POLITICAL CONTRIBUTIONS ARE NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Only CHARITABLE contributions are, and even Congress isn't shady enough to try to make the argument that they're a charity.
