In Indiana is there an inheritance tax?

Answers:
Indiana has an inheritance tax. The inheritance tax return must be filed by the personal representative of the decedent, or it can be filed by an heir.

Spouses who inherit are exempt from tax. Children have a $100,000 exemption. More details in the Indiana Department of Revenue document
