I haven't recieved a refund for the state tax yet. Who do I need to talk to?

We filed our taxes (on time in mid April) and we had money owed to us by the state of MASS. We got a note saying that they got our fie, but so far no check.
Should I contact them on the matter?

Answers:
You can check the status of your Massachusetts state income tax refund by calling 800-392-6089 (in-state) or 617-887-MDOR (out of state), or by visiting the Dept. of Revenue website linked below; have a copy of your tax return handy when you contact them.
Yes, absolutely.
Many states take up to 60 days to pay refunds. You shouldn't worry until mid-June.
I would call them. Make sure you know the amount of the refund you are expecting. Good luck, I'm sure they are just trying to hold on to the money as long as possible.
Yes, you do.
