Can Canadians reclaim taxes from American game show earnings?

I was a contestant on Jeopardy a few months ago (I won one game) and the lousy bastards took 35% off of my winnings. Is there any course of action a Canadian citizen like myself can take to reclaim at least some of this money?

Answer:
There is a course of action for casino winnings. Maybe they can help you with your winnings from Jeopardy. I can't remember the name however. Try calling 1-800-Canada. There is usally a commercial once in a while about it. Haven't seen it recently though. If I find it I will let you know. The website for casino earnings is www.casinorefund.ca- maybe they can refer you to someone who can help.
Nope. Sorry.
