If you dont have sales tax in delaware how does that effect you?
Answer:
I live in Delaware and I can not tell you how happy it makes me to not have taxes on everything I buy. I use to live in NY were they tax everything to death! My property taxes are so much lower than they were in NY too. I pay 1/8th of what I paid in NY. The revenue in Delaware is generated by gambling. We have several casinos..mainly Dover Downs.
I live in Florida,no effect
It doesn't affect me.
For residents of Delaware, the revenue is generated through other means. Most likely your property taxes or income taxes are higher than states with sales tax.
I don't understand this question.
some state have sale tax some city or town have sale tax. What do delaware have to do with sale tax effecting anyone. You go to NYC the sale tax is what 8 or 9 percent base on gross, how do it effect me living in RI or a man in china.
answer is it doesn't have an effect on me cause I don't buy things, my wife is the spender in the family I'm just the payer.
The primary reason that Delaware does not have a sales tax is that it's Division of Corporations pulls in a third of the state budget. Those revenues negate the need for a sales tax. Plus, being the home of tax free shopping brings people from the surrounding states to our malls. That doesn't mean that Delawareans are tax free. They still pay state tax, property tax, and an assortment of other taxes.
