In order to know the annual property taxes there are certain things that you need to know. You'll need to know the ratio that the assessor's office has and what the millage rate is. It would just be easier to call them and ask what the taxes would be.
About $1,200 annually in WV, about $3,000 in OH.

Contact the county clerk, they will be glad to tell you. you can as well find out online, all property is listed online with the property owners name, taxes, liens, etc listed.
In both cases the answer depends on where in the state the home is. Most of my property tax (central ohio) is for my local school district. That amount, naturally, is not that same across the state.
