Where can i get old copies of my w2's from companies i worked for?

Answers:
Best option: contact the employers and request copies.

Option 2: If you had your return prepared by a professional, they may have copies.

Option 3: Used the form linked below to request FREE transcripts of your W-2s from the IRS.
Note: an IRS transcript will not contains state tax data.

Option 4: You can purchase actual copies of you past tax returns and attachments from the IRS for $39.00 per year.
from the companys you worked for...
your file box you cant find anything in.
Send a request to them in writing stating the years you are looking for, better yet if possible is to visit them they will need your name and SSN number, and bring an ID
Request them from the companies.

You can also request copies of returns from the IRS. That will include copies of the Forms W-2. There's a $39 charge per return for that but it is another option.
