More fundamentally than the tax code, it was the 16th amendment that authorized the income tax. That should have ended the argument about whether the income tax is constitutional, but I understand that there are any number of tax protesters who feel that this is still an open question.

You, or your fellow tax deniers, have been referred to Title 26 of the US Federal code hundreds of times on Banswer.com alone. That IS the law you keep asking about. Just because you refuse to accept the answer, doesn't make it any less accurate.
