In the UK where is your Unique Tax Reference Number (UTR) on what document will I find it, p45? If so which No

Is it the PAYE reference?
Or the Tax code?
Or something else?
I need to tell an agency what mine is.

Answers:
You will be issued with a UTR if you are or have been self employed, check your last statement from HMRC. If you have always been employed then you will simply have a national insurance reference.
