I just turned 18 and want to know which credit card would be best to choose.?

first credit card, job informatoin any other info.

Answer:
Being 18 you need to establish your credit without hurting it. American express has a option on their cards that if you charge on their cards thru this plan you must pay the card off completely every month. I suggest trying to get the lowest interest rate possible and the lowest limit possible. Use it for only what you can afford to get. If you are doing this for just establishing your credit check into getting a gas card. By getting only a gas card you a limited on what you can purchase so their is no chance you will go on a spending spree that you regret later. When I turned 18 I made some serious mistakes with credit cards. It has taken me 5 years to pay them off and ruined my credit. Please take my advice and don't ruin your credit just for a new computer or something you can live without. Go to college so you can make enough money to buy what you want without having to rely on credit. Ps make sure that you don't get any store cards like sears, maytag, walmart, or etc. They have the highest intrest rates and are the hardest to pay off.
visa or mastercard is the widely used, more than discover or amex. But you if have to, take anyone of them, you need to build credit. It is very important to watch your spending, do not go over your limit, and ALWAYS pay on time. trust me. I would also suggest getting those identy theft protection plan, which monitors your credit. good luck
chase thats what i have and im 20
