I need a resource that will indicate when real estate taxes are due on a state by state basis.?

I am not concerned about how each county or municipality calculates the amount, just when they are initialy due, and if they are collected once or twice per year.

Answer:
More likely than not you need to contact the localities to get your information. Real estate taxes are generally levied and collected by the towns. Most are probably quarterly, but could be different for each town so you would have much research to do. Start with a search engine, but you may have to call local towns for the answers.
State real estate taxes are levie annually and paid out as agreed with the State. Some people have arrangements to make monthly, quarterly or bi-annual payments. The bills is usually sent out about 6-months before it is due. Due dates and tax rate information can be found on most State's respective websites..
