What is a normal charge for a notary?

we are going to be needing several documents notarized in the next few months and i don't know what a good price is for notary services. is there any place or person who does them for free?! that would be great :) Please help me!

about $10 a page just to notarized it, if he or she has to explain the doc. then like $20 if they have to draft the doc. like $30. loan doc. are from $85 - $250 if they have to travel is like $300

Ask your bank -- usually they do.
Go to your bank that you have a checking or savings account with. They all have a notary and they are free if you are a customer of theirs.
If you have one close to you, most UPS Stores now offer notaries...and the fee is $10..usually per document..
shop around... more than that is too much..
