No success story here, but ive also thought about starting a business. from what ive read, the most cost effective thing to do is to really study your market and make sure all your efforts target that market effectively, that way little of your marketing dollars will go to waste.
Hi there. I own a small cleaning company so I advertise a lot. In my business you can never really gauge a marketing campaign until you have ran it for about 10 weeks. The only guaranteed results I get is from the Golden Pages (Yellow Pages). Whilst running a campaign monitor where people came across your service and keep track. Lets say a campaign cost €300 and you got 3 new customers and in total €250 back. That's brilliant. Why ? You obtained 3 new customers. Hopefully life long customers. If they were happy with your service then believe me they will recommend you to other people. Hope this helps.
