In Lee Co. Florida do you have to have any liciences to be a "handy man"?

YOU'll have to let the Lee County Inspections board decide that. And any cities you work in may require a seperate liscense.
If you work for a company as an employee, or an individual. (for example; say you kept up housing units for a housing firm or realestate brokage firm you would not need a liscense. If yu contracted with mc donalds to handle their inhouse repairs which did not involve inspections you would not need a liscense.
Due to so many people especially the elderly being swindled out of their life savings, homes, ect most cities and countries are beganing to require handy mans liscense.
A handy mans liscense shouild only cost ablut 50/75 a year plus a bond of 75 a year in premium(if required) . but you would be smart to have a liability policy as lawyer happy as people are.
