:-) You've received some very good advice here. Be sure that if you accept PayPal as a method of payment that you make sure you do things right so that an INR (possibly false) claim is not also filed against you and you automatically lose.
Make sure you are shipping to a confirmed address.
Ship within seven days of payment received.
Get delivery confirmation. (this is MUCH cheaper if printing your labels through PayPal, to the tune of more than $.50 each time).
Those are the basic/biggies.
For DC (delivery confirmation) your package needs to be at least 3/4" thick, or buyer may be charged postage due.

Yeah, most people that sell use PayPal to print and make shipping labels or you can do it at usps.com. Check them out.
call your local post office to be sure or you can look it up on line. rates just went up May 15 so you might want to check out the post office.

depends on the weight. It would be easier to just print postage. What you do is look beside the item that was sold, and it should say print postage, and you follow directions from there. Doing it by the usps postal online is much harder than doing it through ebay/paypal.
There's an option in My Ebay on the item after it's ended to print shipping label.
You can't print nothing. You gotta pay for it at the post office and they stamp the package...or you use stamps and enough of them according to weight and size.
YOU CAN GO TO USPS.COM FOR POSTAGE RATES AND TO PRINT YOUR OWN LABELS, BUT SOMETIMES IT GOOFS UP AND THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND IF YOU CANCEL THE POSTAGE, CAUSE IT DIDN'T PRINT RIGHT, IT TAKES DAYS FOR THE POST OFFICE TO PUT THE MONEY BACK IN YOUR ACCOUNT. YOU ARE BETTER OFF TAKING YOUR ITEM TO THE POST OFFICE AND LETTING THEM PUT POSTAGE ON IT.
If you want to print postage and ship through the post office go to www.usps.com and register for an account. You can get free mailing supplies, buy your postage and even arrange for your mailman to pick up the packages you mail. Priority mail is pretty cheap to send packages and you can opt for signature confirmation, delivery confirmation, etc. You also have shipping insurance up to 100.00.
Most people on ebay that are awaiting shipments of packages really like those features so they can track their incoming merchandise. By just putting stamps on the package and mailing it, you are just asking for trouble.
