Any body making a living selling things on eBay?
Answer:
There is a good documentary shown by CNBC called something like eBay: a worldwide obsession. They do show a couple who now make a living selling DVD's from their small farm in the midwest.
But think of this.sure, you could sell DVD's or some other commodity item and maybe make 50 cents or even a dollar per item. Think of how much volume you would have to sell to make it worthwhile.
I worked in a copy/shipping center and I knew many people who claimed to make lots of money from selling on eBay, but they were some of the cheapest customers I met so I'm not sure how much they really made.
Paris Hilton makes a living getting drunk at clubs. anything is possible if you've got the "talent"..
I have read things about people doing it for a living. Ebay has a message board. Goto ebays hompage and click on community. Im sure there are people there that do it.
I believe itw would be more work than having a regular job.
Yes. I have been making a living selling things on e-Bay for over two years. I work from home this way. It all started because I became a single mother and had to find a way to earn money while being able to stay at home with two small children. It evolved from a few items a month to having an e-Bay store. It's a lot of fun and I enjoy the freedom I have of making my own work schedule. But, even with the freedom, I make sure that I do work at least two-three hours a day on marketing. You do have to make the effort for people to see the items you are selling!
