What are the requirements to open a taxi agency, how do I go about doing it in South Carolina.?
Answer:
The first step is to research about the business -- and that means developing your business plan. The whole planning exercise is useful in helping you think through of the business and answer the questions that you will have -- e.g. how much startup capital you will need, how do you intend to market the business, what are the challenges that you will be faced.

I started a taxi cab service in college, it was great. Actually i just took a older car put those magnets on the door and had a cab service. I was in a smaller town, the cabs there did not even run on meters so i dont think it was regulated like it would have been in a big city. I didnt even need a permit but that was a small town try it though i think it will work
