Tell your boss that your co-workers are making you nervous with what they are saying. Show him/her the work that you've done and let him/her make up his own mind.
Tell your boss, "I'm not sure what you heard from others but here are the things I've done. Let me know if there is something else I should be doing." You can't control everything but you can make sure that your boss knows what you're doing. All you can do is to do your best.
Go join another company ..and if they piss you off start again if it bothers you what people say ..have you ever heard the word..IGNORE ..IGNORE..
YOUR BOSS PROBABLY TOLD THEM YOU CAN'T SPELL , CAN'T WRITE A COMPLETE SENTENCE BUT WERE DYNAMITE UNDER THE DESK IN STOCKINGS AND A GARTER BELT WOULD BE MY BEST GUESS .
