If your employer madates that you have to be at your work site for any reason,do they have to pay you?

Answer:
yes they do
Of course they do it's the law
My husband has helped his boss move his office on a weekend - he's salaried. His boss is good to us though and treats all the employees very respectfully - we're lucky.

It really depends upon what's going on and the arrangement that was made. Typically if you are mandated to come to work there is the assumption of pay.
Yes. Be sure you read the employee policy and procedure book, though.
You mean, if they have something happening on a non-scheduled work day, do they have to pay you to be there extra.

Nope. and most of them don't. I worked for a company where we had billable hours. These were hours over and above your regular 40 that you had to work but resulted in no additional compensation and if you were sick, you had to work those hours as OT somewhere else. So that you could make your minimum hours.

The hours were based on a 50 week 5 days a week work year. vacation and holidays just made the other work days longer.
If you are an hourly employee they do. Do you mean for a meeting or something, not your regular work hours? They would still have to pay you....
Salaried employees are not paid extra.
Hourly employees must be.
