Anyone remember being a first time seller on ebay?

I want to do well, but since this is my first time, I am not sure how to get my item to sell. It is a newspaper from the day Elvis died (seller terri4603). Typing in Elvis Newspaper brings it up. There is another just like mine so look for terri4603. Better yet, why don't you all help me out and bid? LOL, but serious.

It looks like that newspaper has been listed before and a copy sold for the price of $8.49. Other copies listed have not sold. Your $50 Buy-it-Now price might be off-putting to buyers. A good idea before listing is to always do a search for your item and check "completed auctions" on the left side of the screen to see what it may (or may not) have sold for in the past.
There are quite a few listed and I'd have to open each one listed to find out which one is yours. What is your question?
keep your auction simple. type in a few sentences describing it, and put a picture there. i for one hate reading through a bunch of over-sized text and stupid links on some poeples auctions
