Any advice on setting up a Wool shop please?

I am looking to set up a wool shop but need advice on things that I need to consider. If anyone has an idea of what sort of margin there is on wool. What the demand is, I am specifically looking at the Southampton/Winchester/Andover area in Hampshire. Any advice on how to deal with suppliers, setting up the shop etc

Answer:
You're asking a lot! Start selling wool etc. at your local car boot sale (you will find many suppliers at Yel.com). See how you get on, then move to a proper market stall. Experience and meeting other traders will be the key to your success.
get a good flock of sheep- cut out the middle man
seriously good luck!
Sorry,

I think that's a really BAAAd idea ;-)
I'm not in anyway connected with the wool trade and i have no idea of supply and deliveries but what i can say the days of the wool shop would seem to be in the hands of national companies and a single shop would be touch and go so I would advise you perhaps to divert to something else
Romsey - it's between Southampton and Winchester and full of lots of old women and posh ladies who probably enjoy knitting a lot!

Nice place too!
