Where is a good place to get free boxes?
Answers:
grocery store, fast food stores, dollar stores.
if you are gonna mail these boxes, USPS offers free boxes. you can order them on www.USPS.com. just make sure you use those for mailing those, otherwise its a federal crime to deceive the USPS.
if you have to buy, http://www.uline.com/ is the cheapest out there. get a free catalog from them. if small boxes, 12x12x12 for example, run like 40 cents each compared to $2.10 at say office max.
try your neighborhood grocery store.
liquor stores have really solid boxes, sometimes with dividers in them. grocery stores have lots of the from when they receive veggies. just ask a bag boy or someone. they usually are happy to give them away.
places like save-alot, even family dollar, salvation army...etc just ask the store owner really
I think the two best places are a liquors store and the product department of a grocery store. The boxes from the liquor store are sturdy and so are the banana boxes. The banana boxes will need to have some holes taped. My favorite boxes are the rubber tubs that you can purchase at Wal-mart. Those can be reused. That is where I store my out of season things.
Duane Reade tends to keep its boxes for awhile...you could just walk around the block and hit up a few. I am onlu suggesting this because I am guessing yopu're in ny based on your profile name. If not, liquor stores are good
