The problem with drop shippers is that they make you look bad when you sell a product, then you try to order it and find out that they are out of stock. Its also very hard to make a product because drop shippers are not true wholesalers. They mark up the products themselves.
A drop-ship is a term used by suppliers which is used when an item is billed to one source, but shipped to another. What it actually means is you buy an item from a supplier, they are either out of stock, or, more likely, do not stock that item due to lack of sales. They, in turn, order it directly from the manufacturer and have it shipped directly to you.
If you are a retail outlet that has an account with the supplier, they bill you for whatever you ordered from them, plus a shipping and/or a handling fee.
If you do not have an account, then they would wait until your payment clears, or they have verification your payment will clear, then have it shipped. This could add weeks to shipping time.
The problem is if you sell an item to someone and the supplier has to have that item drop-shipped to you, then you are at the mercy of the manufacturer as to when you get the item. It it isn't made, you have to wait until it gets made. Then you have to wait for the shipper to get it to you, which ranges anywhere from 1 to 10 working days.
I can send you a link to a site for 100's of suppliers of 100's of products from the far east. The site doesnt charge a fee. I have used a few of the companies and they are brilliant to deal with. I cannot post the link here as it is a violation of Yahoo policy. Just reply and I'll send it to you.
