How do I get a copy of my fictitious business name statement (in San Diego County)?

I started a business several years ago (less than five) and am interested in switching my business checking account. The new bank needs a fictitious business name statement, but I don't want to pay for another one if I somehow have access to the original. If you know how I can receive a copy of this filing, I'd be very grateful.

Thanks!

Answer:
If you don't have it on you, you don't have it. You need to go to the county clerk's office and get a copy. Or ask your existing bank for a copy. Other Questions and Answers:
