Would it be best to do individual businesses or combine into one?

My husband and I are both aspiring entrepreneurs.. he, a photographer and I, a writer. Should we combine our talents to come up with one business or should we have two seperate freelance businesses. We can't decide.

Answers:
I would go separate, except for maybe articles or books where you could work together. And if you are going to both freelance, then by all means, plug the other one if you can. If you are going to write about a subject and need fresh pictures, he can take them. If you two come up with a book idea, of course. But I wouldn't make it "S &B Photos and Writing" sort of thing.

Those are pretty different fields - I'd vote for separate.
