If you do consignments with retailers, how much is the percentage can a retailer get from you?

I need to know how much I can markup my items before accepting retailer's consignment requests. Any advise?

Answer:
At least 30% for general merchandise. I used to run a retail business, I do not mind lesser margin coz consignment merchandise provide me positive cash flow and I don't have to worry about balance stocks.
retailers generally take 50% of the gross sales and that is the standard rule of thumb industry wide .
