coffee you will be going up against starbucks so beware, find a niche market in your community thats not overly saturated. funeral home is probably already taken care of unless the death rate is gonna start increasing in your area. cause there are obviously enough funeral homes in your area to cover the current death rate. look into helping people "go green" or something similar, thats the new big hit in America. go exploring in your city and maybe you will see a need for something.
Start a business that you think you are knowledgable at. Funds and intellect won't go that far if you put up a business that you are not really familiar with. Goodluck! =D

Coffee? Could be. If it's something you are passionate about, something that excites you, something that you really, really get enjoyment out of when you talk about, something that you can see youself writing about from different aspects daily.
Find your niche market. Don't try and market to the world. Choose a niche and become an expert in that niche. You will see that if you are good, the word will spread and maybe more importantly, your message will be tailored to that niche. People will feel like you are really speaking to them.
1. Solve a Problem. You know your niche inside and out. What gives them trouble, day in and day out? If you can solve that problem for them with an innovative approach, they'll buy your solution. As you can see, I have followed these basic rules.
I have done this on one of my websites for actors. I'm an actor and author and I wrote a book and created a website for young actors, who, among other things, NEED to get their finances in order before they jump into their careers, so that they can concentrate on taking classes, getting their headshots taken, etc. So many have money problems and can't afford to really act full-time, because they have to work a nine to five job making just a little bit of money. We all have to eat! Often times though, we have to do jobs that take us out of our real focus of staying in our element of acting. We can’t always get off work for auditions. We don’t always have the support of our bosses. We don’t always have the money to be able to study and take classes when we want or to have the time to prepare auditions, do market research, market ourselves as we should or just stay abreast of what’s happening in the industry. Why? Because we have to work…for someone else. And thus, I offer a book a website and also some opportunities that I am using and that they can use too, to do what? To help them solve a problem that I know many of them have.
2. Be Creative. Instead of doing something the same old way, add a new twist to a proven strategy. Technology offers endless solutions for the creative mind.
My site will soon have more audio, video and some other interactive things that other sites in this industry don't have and if they do have them, they won't be done like I'm doing it. You have to differentiate yourself from your competition.
Remember that no one does 'it' like you do!
3. Be generous. Always do your best to create loyalty with your subscribers and customers. And offer them an opportunity to profit along with you.
One of the things I learned about internet marketing and in business in general is how important it is to give. The more you give, the more you receive. I repeat. The more you give, the more you receive.
