What is a fair hourly rate for pet sitting ? What if the pet"s ill and requires constant supervision and meds?
Answer:
I used to be a pet sitter, and the company I worked for charged anywhere from $17-$30 per 1/2 hour sit. It depended on many different things: How far away does the sitter have to drive? Are their medications? Are their multiple pets? Are their walks involved? Is their feeding involved? We had people that would want us with their animal 24/7 (various reasons) and in those cases it was $65 for the overnight part of the stay (7pm-7am) and $9-$15 an hour for during the day (7am-7pm) again depending on that pets individual needs.
if your pet is really sick, you either have to bring him to the a clinic or stay home with him till he is better.
I babysit pets and i usually get 10 a day, but if the pet is ill and requires meds and constant supervision like ALL day i would say about $35-50 a day
It depends of the location. In my opinion it is about $11 per hour, but some people pay more! People can increase the pay when the pet is ill, the species, size, and etc. That is kind of said because I am a CNA and I on;y got paid $8.00 per hour for assisting with people!
