Working at guitar center?

im about to start a new job at guitar center in a couple of days. ive heard both good and bad things about working there. alot of people say that the sales associates dont know what they are talking about or are a-holes, so i will avoid that but does anybody have any stories or info?

I have never worked there but I recently bought a Martin from the one by me and the associate was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and friendly! You have to remember no matter where you go you will probably end up with good and bad so take it for what it is and don't let others get you down just do your best. It boils down to what you are going to make of it and if you play your cards right hopefully it will be a great experience! Good luck!

When ever I go in to purchase it is hard to get someone to help.

They are too busy playing the instruments or helping their friends( who obvious are only there to play also).

Always, too noisy to hear what you are TRYING to buy.
