actually what you can do is go to ebay and sell your art. I saw this one guy - he is selling his art works on there and makes a nice tidy sum. if you do decide on Ebay there are no taxes to pay and no website to create plus a lot of people already know that site so you don't have to wait for people to find out about it. now you might have to relist your item several times. Go online to set up a corporation, they charge about 300 to get you incorporated, just look up incorporate in the search. Then you can register your company name at the county court house and get your tax id # at the tax office, just call the county court house and ask where you should go and for numbers to call. You'll need your own fax line and separate business phone line with an answering machine attached.
This has to be separate from your home line. You can get your website set up and email attached to that and you'll be in the business, what a great idea! That sounds like fun.
