Should i follow my boss or my own views when meeting with customers?

i did MBA and working in a textiles buying house. i have great knowledge about commerce(selling and buying by mails). but my boss is using tradition way to communicate with customers. we have big orders for export. please advise. Best regards.

depends on your boss.

if he is the real inflexible type, you probably don't want to outstep your bounds.

but, if you think he is the person that will quickly recognize that you are offering a better solution (and also he is not the jealous type), then you should make your recommendation to him and let him decide if you can take your own approach.
Your boss. He holds your future in his hands and not the other way around. Tell him your ideas and methods, but if he wants to hold onto the old way let him, he's the boss.
