I'm a content writer with a website. How do I make my site win me jobs?

H's answer is good.
But I'd add that specifically you need to think about provable results. Can you show, for example, that your writing makes a specific difference to the ad-revenue from a site.
If you can show before and after for content creation driving revenue, then you have a compelling case to approach companies with. You can say: "I doubled the ad revenue of a site like yours by creating custom copy." That kind of thing catches the attention!
put a resume on your site
Like anybody that sells a service or a product mate. You will have to advertise, get the word out there.
In my experience, there are allot of web developers that 'struggle' with the content issue due to factors that may be related [mostly] to the client.
Get maybe some emails out to some developers and discuss the possibility for a minimal fee to be 'part' of their deal when they do work for clients.
Another approach, which will not be too good but, well, is to get your own clients that want websites and have it developed but with your deal included.
Browse some medium sites and maybe make a good presentation to the owners of the site.
Best of luck in this!
