What is reserve price on ebay? how will i know if the seller will sell or not at my bid price?

some listings show reserve met / reserve not met.
how will I know when it doesnt show?

Answer:
Some sellers will set a reserve (the lowest price that they will accept) and start the bidding lower than that to try to encourage bidding. Some will start the bidding at the lowest price, and not have a reserve on the auction. Some sellers will list the reserve, or tell you what it is in an e mail, and some will not.

If the auction does not say reserve (not) met, there is no reserve on the auction.
The reserve price is the minimumm bid the seller will accept.
The reserve price is the minimum a seller will sell an item for. The best way to bid on these is to decide what the highest price is you are willing to pay and then bid.
E bay will let you know if the reserve hasn't been met. They also put a statement on the screen that says it hasn't been met.
Helllo, reserve price on ebay means that the seller setup a minimum price of the item of what he will sell it for. Good Luck..and happy bidding!
the lowest price that will be accepted on that item it is the seller choice to sell it below that reserve price but once it goes over that reserve he has to sell it at the top bid
