Answer:
get over it and laugh quit being so uptitght
I think it is hilarious and see no reason for you to be offended.
your story sounds more like Communism than democracy. And if this is directed towards democrats than your boss should know republicans aren't perfect either, isn't Bush friends with Castro? I say yes they are in cahoots, and no that was not an appropriate email for someone in power in y0ur company to send you. I think that would be discrimination and grounds for a lawsuit. Defiantly a lawsuit, because you as an American have the right to work in a non discriminate environment, but if you are going to sew talk to lawer first see what your rights are
No.he should not have sent that to you. You have a right to be offended.
Oh, C'mon.
I think your co-owner was trying to lighten the air, but still make a point.
This is actually a form of harassment. You have every right to inform your employer that you do not wish to be included in his 'joke recipient' list.
If he fails, then you have a legitimate complaint.
Also, I didn't find the joke funny at all.
undoubtedly someone will say it's grounds for a lawsuit. They are a putz. It's just a joke. Maybe the general consesus is that everyone at the company is a conservative, if you aren't, so be it. no harm no foul. Wait for the proper time and let people know you leave politics at home. Liberals suck, but not any more than conservatives, politicians have ruined this country but only because voters have allowed it to happen. So in essence all of you suck. O.K Just kidding / Jokes (get it)
When I first started to read this I rolled my eyes. However it took a very interesting twist that I didn't see coming. It has kind of an Ayn Rand 'Atlas Shrugged- Orwell 'Animal Farm' thing going on.And if you can blend two books like these in such a short little parody, man that's gold. I liked it very much, it's clever. What's sad is most people don't see it like this. Capitalism, Democracy, these are dying things, just as the U.S., as we know it, is. So anyway, no, you shouldn't be offended. Stop being such a f@g.
I think its great, I just plagiarized you and sent it to all my family and friends.
I think its true though. Sadly true.
It is a complete oversimplification of the economic relationships that exist between animals (people). At the very LEAST, it omits that the toil of the little red hens ability to produce in the first place, was thats to the infrastructure that a farmer had laid down and developed, presumably at thier own cost (it wasn't, it is yet another gift of taxes). The rich of the world are not the fattest people on the planet either, and want things beside a lot of bread.
An absurd, ignorant bastardization of a simple tale. I would be extremely offended. Classic 16th and 17th century thinking there. What enlightened leadership[ you have.
It's not really appropriate for the workplace. Any discussion of religion, politics, sexual orientation, or race can open a company up to a lawsuit. No matter what you personally believe or your opinion of the email, it does not belong on corporate email systems. Otherwise, someone who may actually be deeply offended by this could sue your company, and since it is on the company email system from your boss's account, they would probably win.
Tell your boss to read the ins and outs of hostile workplace laws and to get a yahoo account!
