Answer:
You only have little time on this earth, And you seem like you are dying to explore the possibilities(LOL Fisher Price) anyway below are links to New York vs San Ramon Details and I took the time to search for you flights to either destination on Expedia.com it will cost $167 to get to Cali or $97 to New York, the flights I made for November 2nd but you can leave anytime you want! Whatever you choose I hope you are happy and have years of wealth and love! Hope Everything works for you!

Las Vegas is the best city!! However you should wonder why a city needs to push you and you push the city.
Southern California is the place for you. Look me up when ya get here.
i think you should moce in Columbia :D
Sure, you're young. Try something new and exciting. You can always move back.

Sounds like you have already made your mind up. I say if that's what you want then go for it.
Move and explore, don't settle until you do this.
without a doubt, Singapore.

i've lived here all my life. one of the safest countries
in the world.

my only gripe is that usually the non-chinese (with the
exception of caucasians) are discriminated against.
especially indians.

so there ya go!

and when you get here. hire me, dammit!
Do it!

Ten years ago, I left all my family, friends, and the life I've always known in California, to move to Upstate NY. it's the best decision of my life. I was the opposite of you, I lived a fast life, and I wanted to slow it down. Here, I've found such peace in my life.

Bottom line, you'll always get what you always got, if you keep doing what you've always done! What do you have to lose? Do it, see it for yourself. If it doesn't work out, you can always move back home. But while you're young, live life the way it's meant to be lived. your way!
go with your gut feelings, they are usualy right.
I live in Beverly Hills, I have worked my way up, I used to live in a 200 thousand dollar house and now I live in a 12 million dollar mansion. In California everything is expensive, specially Los Angeles and San Francisco, I would recommend Mammoth (were it snows) or Laguna Beach (in between L.A and San Diego) which is a beautiful not so expensive area. I also lived in NYC in a 10 million dollar condo, and it was great and everything, but I really don't think too many people will be able to afford that (luckily for me, I went to college, and now im a lawyer making millions every year). NYC never sleeps, and that's true, I never got bored in New York, plus you have the city and the country all together (just like those movies, Amityville Horror, Hide and Seek, etc, those were in NY Country). California is very entertaining, with beaches, not so warm weather, nice 70 degrees kind of weather, and it's really good for students and single persons. I would recommend either.
The question really pertains to your work. Depending on what kind of work you do, might dictate how big of a city you want to be in. Since our jobs ultimately allow where we can go, if it is a booming job opportunity in one of the big cities, it could go both ways. Moving to a big city will allow a faster pace of life, but also much more competitive. In making a decision like this you have to understand that struggles will be part of that as well. Whether its struggling to keep bills together, or struggling to find friends, or fit into the scene.

In my honest opinion, if your not too stir crazy. Familiar is often safe, and memorable. You leave that, and you run the risk, of not ever wanting to come back to it again. Eventually, you will probably wish that you were back there where you could keep with things, and everything is much more personable.

That is the key differance.
In the big city, things people, and places are not personable. It's all about the go and hustle. You have to think about if that is really what you want.

Wish you the best of luck in that decision.
chicago metro area is a great place to be.

the list goes on.
i took job that allowed me to explore the country. i saw some of the most beautiful country that the country has to offer, including all of the west coast. it has stuck with me to this day and wouldn't trade the experiences in culture and adventure for anything. it also caused me to step back from time to time and take a look at the places i haven't been and make plans to go see them. it has also had a liberating effect on me, in that, it freed my soul. it is such a shame that most people given wings are still afraid to fly. i think you should definitely explore; you'll never regret it.
You should stay with what you know as long as you enjoy it. If you like your friends and the weather you should stay put. There are better ways to entertain yourself there in Orlando. The cost of living in SoCal and NY are too high. Unless you have experience owning a business or have a high paying profession you are likely to end up in the rat race stuck as an employee and dealing with traffic to and from work. Move once you get over the need to change your life to get motivated. Fast pace = high stress and lower quality of life.
Don't measure your success with how much you make, how much you pay in rent or the house you own, and the car you drive. Success is better measured in achieving your personal goals, excelling in your chosen profession, healthy relationships, and family.
i live in Arizona!
Stay in Orlando and take it to the next level.
