Babystiing questions?

how much should i charge per hour? what type of stuff should i bring? and iz 13 to young?

Answers:
well, it depends on the age of this child. if you have experience in with children, you should be able to handle them well. If not, consider bringing along a friend who you think is mature. Many cities offer a red cross babysitting certification class, which will be appealing to many parents. For what to bring, possibly take with you a few games, books, or appropriate movies that the kids may enjoy. It's always fun to do something new. Discuss with the parents of the children what they are thinking about charging, but i would suggest about 4 to 5 dollars and hour per child.
13 years old may be young but if its just one kid u should be fine.

What is babystiing? I don't think I'd pay anyone to stiing my baby!
At least 8 an hour. If you are thinking about making this a part time job then go to the library before check out childrens books and a few dvd's (if they have them). Also a book on childrens arts and crafts with everyday things is a good book to check out. The key is to keep them busy without making too much of a mess.
$7 hour.age depends on the kids u watching.
Start off charging $10 an hour per kid, only bring a cell phone and a good attitude. No 13 is an average age
i am 13 and i have babysitted 6 kids at one time.
the ages were 6 months, 2, 3, 5, 5, and 7.
so as for that, you are not too young.
it depends on how many kids you are babysitting that you charge per hour.
Usually for 1 kid i do from 3-5 per hour.
2 is usually 5-7 per hour.
and so on.
and if you are babysitting for like 6 hours at a time i'd charge about a dollar more total also. But if its an hour thing, i wouldnt.
Usually i ask whoever i am babysitting for how much they are willing to pay per hour, and you usually negotiate with that,.
hope that helps :]
$5.00 Depends how old they r. if there 2,3,or 4 take paper and crayons. if there 5,6,or 7 maby some little kid movies and books. 8,9, or 10 pg movies or board games (music if a girl). No i dont think 13 is to young im 11 and when im 12 i will start.
Whether or not 13 is too young you would need to find out from your local law enforcement a lot of towns/cities have specific rules on that to protect you and the children. Taking a First Aid CPR course is a great idea as well. You might want to start off babysitting for a close friend of the family or a family member for no more than an hour or 2 at first, then gradually progress up. Always be sure that your parents have a way to contact you and you contact your parents. All children are different some have special needs or allergies you need to be aware of that a parent may forget to tell you and that a babysitting course could help make you aware of to ask. Watching children is a major responsibility just take it slow (don't start off with 3 or 4 kids at once) and don't let yourself get to overwhelmed. As far as charging I would sit down with the parents and discuss that $8-$10 an hour seems a little outrageous. A lot of people I know like to do it on a flat rate such as if its just a night out for the parents maybe $20 even or if its after school care for a few hours maybe $80 a week something like that to where its doesn't have to be counted to the exact minute and that way you know exactly what your getting paid - if they decide to come home early or cancel, and they know what they are paying. Good Luck to you! Be Safe!
