There are a lot of people out there who want to get paid to surf the internet but that doesnt happen. My suggestion would be to get out there and get a job when you have someone to watch the kid at night or something if you want extra money. It annoys me that stay at home moms want their cake and eat it to. If you want to be a stay at home mom you realize that you will be taking a financial hit so either deal with it or dont be a stay at home mom

Mylot is a networking site where you get LOADS of information about which are, and which are not, good sites to earn from.
There are very active discussions being submitted @ about 5 per second, on its various forums.
'Make extra money' is an excellent forum, under the interest called 'Things I'd like to do in my life'.
You are PAID a few cents for every post you make.either you start a new discussion or you simply comment upon somebody else's discussion.
Though the rate per post is not high, if you make many posts, you do get to earn somewhat.
What really pays, though, is getting referrals to join, then your earnings go up. ( I am earning close to $ 5 daily, with my referrals ).

Well, I have been working from home for over 3 1/2 years with the same company. Trust me, my family relies on my income so if this was not legitimate as well as lucrative, then I would no longer be doing it.
You are right, there are lots of scams out there. I found them all as well. I really had to start looking closely at credentials and I was happy to see that this business was not only with the BBB, but also received the Blue Chip Enterprise Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
