Actually Amazon is a great place to have host your site. They host some big companies like Target.
You come up high on a search and it doesn't designate you as an Amazon Store.
If someone searches on Amazon for a product, if you have it, your store and product will come up even if Amazon carries it also.
If you have a store on eBay, it's designated as an eBay store so I wouldn't suggest that one.
