How can you start your own cleaning business?
Answers:
I have owned 2 cleaning businesses. Easy to start, difficult to manage and make money. Long story, you can check out one of our websites (see below).
How to start a business:
1)Write a business plan
2)Decide type of ownership (sole propietorship, LLC, etc)
3)FIle with Sec. State, Dept. Licensing, for bus. license
4)Get business license from City you intend to clean in
5)Get insurance and a bond
6)Get a booth at a local Home Show/Home & Garden Show
We did not advertise, started with Home Show and got 30 weekly/bi-weekly cleaning jobs. Hired 5 employees, then additional filing/paperwork is necessary.
What you charge is not that big of an issue. Totally dependent on where you're at, you're quality, and what you provide. Somewhere between $20 and $50 per hour I imagine.
Hope this helps.
You can start by cleaning your own house. Maybe your parents will pay you. Ask them.
my mom started a cleanin business...first she was talkin to neighbours and askin them bout it then she had get get insured and she put adds in the paper and on the radio...a regular weekly clean is anywhere from $75-$100 and the first time you clean is more bc you cleanin all the old dirt then it goes down bc its routine

if you know how to really clean a house then just run a ad in the paper for pricing try calling around to places that already do that sort of thing and do it cheaper than them
