How can I use the internet to find a specialized contractor?

How can I use the internet to find different contractors who can build earth-sheltered homes and would work in South Dakota? If you think there's a more appropriate category for this question, please let me know. Thanks!!

Google it! (Yahoo it just doesn't have the same punch)

Locate your local builders association and environmental advocacy groups.

Look for other people who have built similar homes in your area. (couple hundred miles or so). Ask them for referral.

Check with your local code enforcement office.

Good luck and have fun.
Have you googled "earth homes"? When you find a contractor, make sure you check with the state to make sure he is licensed properly and has to outstanding complaints. Also ask for a list of references and do call each one. You can't do enough homework, when you're having someone build a house for you.
google or yellow pages for contractors in your area, even if it's not exactly what you're looking for, contractors usually have good people to refer you to, who may not be advertising themselves.
