If you are renting, and a third party (a realtor) handles the rent and the property, but are doing a real crappy job at it, can you request to speak to the owner's of the house directly? To, at least, let them know that the people handling their property are hurting them more than helping them.
Answers:
if the management is not doing the job, i would look into my lease to see if there is any additional contact information listed. if not check public records for your address to get owner information.
You can always ask the property manager for the owners contact information. The worst s/he can say is "no".
You can also go to your county assessor's office and get the owners contact information. This is public information and available to anyone who requests it.
