What is the address of the site to find out how much someone paid for a certain house?

Answer:
Try www.zillow.com. It will have the date and amount that was paid on record. However, it does take several weeks fo rzillow to be updated.

The records should be filed with the county clerk within a few days of closing (this varies by location). You can contact the county clerks office and they can release this information since it is public information. Depending on the location if they are not too busy you might be able to get it over the phone.

Many larger cities/counties also have web sites that you can look at. These are updated less frequently than the the actual postings.
you can call the real estate tax collector . all property has revenue stamps placed on them for the total cost of the property , most clerks will tell you.
you can try zillow.com. not very accurate but it'll give you a good idea of what they paid for it.
If you search for the county auditor in your community, they should have that information online.
Local couty clerk should have the deeds and mortgage/deed of trust. Many banks in my area now dod not put the amount of the load on the paperwork that is filed, only their copy at the bank.
