Is it a good time to invest in property in UK? East sussex area in particular.?

Answer:
Yeah go for it.

It is pretty hard to lose in the UK when it comes to property. Even on the occasion when they have a recession or a downward turn in the economy a year or two later things are back on track. If you plan to live somewhere for 3-5 years, you almost can't lose.

Do your research, pick a nice property in a nice area, and try and get it for the best price. Good luck.
it would seem that anywhere would be a good investment at the moment
probably not. the real estate market is heading south
It is always a good time to invest in property, even when the market is not that ''good''. The Property boom is set to continue, in the U.K for at least the next 3 quarters. Property has only one way of investing, and that is to buy when you are able to. Even if the market goes down, it has to go up sometime.
Don't be one of those people that say ''If only I bought back when property was cheaper, I could have made a fortune now.''
So when has it ever NOT been a good time to invest in property?

Property prices go up, then they come down. But the trend is always UP.

Don't listen to the doom and gloom brigade.
Property has always been a LONG TERM investment and is a safe bet if you dont mind the roller coaster ride sometimes
